One Response to Walk Me to the Corner

  1. Beth McHugh says:

Roy, this was so many shades of perfect…from the Leonard Cohen quote to the last line! Loved that you included Rome, dancing, and poetry with the walking…and made them weave together so beautifully! I love Ann Morrow Lindbergh’s commentary about a good relationship being like a dance (“Gift from the Sea”)…your comparison made me think of that immediately! And to hear the lovely voice of Shelley on the audio…what else could one ask for? One of my favorites of your essays! Thank you for this piece of loveliness!
